After busting a fake placement consultancy in Shivajinagar, CCB on Saturday busted yet another placement consultancy in RT Nagar. However, the CCB has indicated the source of information as an e-Mail.
The CCB shared this successful mission on Facebook stating, it was a consultancy named HUMAN RESOURCE PLACEMENT (HRP) SERVICES, which was running the business of fraud placements. This was located at No. 28, 1st floor, Devegauda road, RT Nagar, Bengaluru.
The CCB officials have seized 10 monitors, 8 CPU, 2 laptops, 15 landline phone sets, payment slips, company seal, cheques etc from HRP Services Office.
This consultancy had almost the same procedure of calling up the unemployed people and promising them job post registration. Their source of candidate information was Job Portals, which gives recruiter access for anyone who pay them.
Candidates had to pay fees of INR Rs 4,000 to register in their consultancy, but many did not get job in spite of shelling out their money.
Human Resource Placement Services Consultancy also used to arrange fake interviews and also sending out e-Mails with fake ID’s. By default all candidates were not hired in as a result of this drama.
A cursory check of records showed that from August 2013, 726 job seekers got registered by paying Re 30,80,000 and only 367 candidates were refunded a total of Re 12,29,000. Older data is being collected.
As a result of raid by the CCB officials have arrested the people involved in. Abdul Ali (Accounts manager), Sayeeda Ruhi (Manager), Tasmiya (Placement officer), Fatima (HR Manager)and MD Meenhaj (Placement & asst a/c officer) are identified to be the arrested. Owner Sayyad Gaus of Rajaji Nagar is reported to be absconding and as the CCB is on search for the mastermind behind this.
